He's 6 months old now!

On July 25, Isaac turned 6 months old! He had his 6 month check up and we found out that he is 20 lbs. 2 oz. and 30 inches long! Here's a few photos taken on the 25th and a few days later, too!

Isaac has been playing with his toes a lot over the past couple of months! Lately he has been actually "sucking" on his toes...and making a little slurping noise when he does it. It's hilarious!

This is one of my favorite outfits for Isaac! It's actually 9 month size, and fits him perfect right now at 6 months. The shirt has a little crab on it, and one of the "arms" on the crab flops out like 3-D. Isaac was grabbing that flap and was quite intrigued by it while I was taking these photos!

Isaac's first swim!

Our friends invited us over to swim the other day! It was Isaac's first time, and he loved it! Several other Mom's came with their kids to enjoy the water!
Isaac has very fair skin, and so my first priority was to slather him up with sunscreen! I put a hat on his head to protect it from the sun, but it was a little loose, so I took it off. Isaac had never really had lotion rubbed all over his body, and I think he thought he was getting a massage! He liked getting his sun protection on!
I love the hat!! It kept falling off or completely covering his face, so I took it off before we got in the water.

Here we are ready to hop in the pool!!

This is fun! He was kicking his little legs and moving his arms around. He even acted like he could almost float on his back without me holding him. I never let go of him, of course, but he really did kick and "swim" like he knew what to do in the water.

We took a break on the patio a couple of times, and ate a little food. Plus, we needed to reapply the sunscreen to make sure he would not get a burn!

A couple of days later, Daddy and Mommy took Isaac swimming again at our friends house. The first time Daddy couldn't be there because he was working. Isaac enjoyed spending time with Jason in the pool!!

Post swimming, Isaac looked quite content and ready to cruise home and catch a nap.
