It feels like a new house!

We recently had new siding and windows installed on our house! There were a lot of rotting boards on the back side of our house, and the windows were very drafty. We were worried that the rotting boards would attract termites or, with time, cause some significant structural problems! We decided to go ahead with the project before the end of the year so we will be able to claim the tax credit for having energy efficient windows! I have never been "crazy" about the exterior of our house because of the layout and design of it. But, now, it seems fresh and more modern! I am amazed how different it looks! Here are a few photos to give you an idea of how the project turned out!
This window is facing our neighbor's house, and it includes a counter top and shelving system where we have our computer set up.
The window on the left is our kitchen window.
We updated our lights outside! I love these "lantern style" lights!
We even got a new door bell! The old one was tiny, kind of rusty, and hard to see.
This is the side of the house next to the driveway where we park our cars. It is also the outside wall of our guest bedroom.
Here is a view of the back of the house. We still need to get a new storm door for the back door.

This is our back door that leads to the patio. We will soon have a storm door back here!
