He loves to come over to the back window in the living room and look outside. He watches the birds and squirrels eating from our bird feeder. He also loves to watch airplanes and helicopters flying over.
Here is the binoculars, Mommy! I've tried to let him look through them, but he doesn't do it yet.
Isaac has two teeth on the bottom and two teeth on the top now! He loves to bite things. He bites crackers, fruit, waffles, and bread.
Here's a picture of Isaac eating a waffle at breakfast time! He loves Mommy's home-made, multi-grain waffles!
I had to slip this photo in here some where! Isaac got an "ouchy" on his nose! About 2-3 weeks ago, Isaac and me were returning from getting the mail, and he stumbled in the drive way. He usually catches himself with his hands and doesn't end up with any injury. At this point, he was kind of tired and it was getting a little bit dark, so I think those two factors caused him to slip when he caught himself. Plus, he was on a slanted spot in the driveway. He just barely scraped his little nose on the pavement, but it was enough to cause him to bleed a little. He didn't really cry, except for a couple of seconds, and he wanted to keep walking around and playing, but blood was dripping from the tip of his nose, so I had to take him inside to wash it and put a band-aid on it. He doesn't like his nose to be touched or wiped, so I couldn't stop the bleeding by holding a tissue on it, so when Jason got home from work he saw Isaac with a band-aid over the bridge of his nose. It really looked bad for about a week, then the scab fell off and it was pink under neath. Now it looks almost back to normal. Long story... But I know someone is bound to see some of the photos where his nose looks banged up and ask ..."what happened?!" So, now you know! He is so independent sometimes and doesn't want me to hold his hand when he's walking outside. I guess they learn by falling--he hasn't fallen again, since!! I do have to hold his hand when he's in the driveway or he'll run down it into the road! I'm trying to teach him that he can play in the driveway but "STOP!" when you get to the end of it!! He seems to understand a little bit. Hopefully he will be quick to learn that he must watch carefully for cars!
Growing, growing, growing, that boy is! Owie about the fall. Poor kid. Looks like he recovered just fine, though! Funny how some things are more traumatic for us as parents than for the kids. I love his little vest and tie...so handsome!
